Managing the team

Three facts about good teams

All great teams share the same three qualities.

1. Great teams form in the pursuit of a clear worthwhile purpose.
2. Great teams have the ability to write practical plans.
3. Great teams remain positive during difficult times.

Great teams form in the pursuit of a clear worthwhile purpose.
Clarity of purpose is the most important aspect in any individual or team.
Clarity is about mental clarity and also; clarity in communication.

Mental clarity is the ability to define concepts, integrate knowledge and arrive at firm conclusions, within the privacy of your own mind.

Communication clarity is the ability to convey your ideas to others in such a way that others understand you, (they do not necessarily have to agree).

Great teams have the ability to write practical plans.
The ability to think is Mankind’s means of survival.
To survive economically, all teams must act thoughtfully.
Planning involves the identification of the practical steps that are needed to attain the object of the team’s purpose.
The team must be able to think logically and creatively in order to to solve the problems that face it.
In practical term it means the ability to see facts as they really are no better and no worse, and then integrate those facts into workable plans of action.

Great teams remain positive during difficult times.
A productive atmosphere is the concern of every individual.
It means choosing to be as optimistic and enthusiastic as possible given the circumstances.

As an act of personal will, deciding to search for the best in yourself.

Secondly it means consciously inspiring other towards a productive mood. Actively trying to boost the morale of those around you and refraining from saying or doing anything that will lower people spirits unnecessarily.
