Effective Leader Manager
The current problem-situation
Do you have a team leader manager who has good knowledge and technical expertise, is goal focused and results driven. However their personal style is causing problems?
Does this manager’s style is such that it has a negative effect on other in the organisation?
The solution
The solution is to help create a change in behaviour through coaching sessions and/ or training sessions. Chris Farmer (from the corporate coach group) will attend with the purpose of:
- Helping the person to identify those behaviours that are the issue.
- Help to identify the negative effects of the behaviours.
- Giving a clear alternative set of behaviours (what to say, what to do) instead of the current set.
- Have the person see the benefits of change.
- Have them commit to a change.
What I am not intending to do:
I am not intending to discover “why they are doing it”, in terms of their psychology, upbringing or culture.
I believe they have the right to think and feel anything, but how they communicates in a professional setting is their personal responsibility and can be modified by:
1. The correct training and coaching.
2. Her own individual act of will.
