How to be more fun

Would you like to be more fun to be around? Here are some suggestions for you:

  1. Rid your mind of fear and anger.
  2. Relax.
  3. Refuse to take things (or yourself) too seriously.
  4. Notice the silliness.

1. Rid your mind of any fear and anger.

Nobody likes to hang around fearful or angry people.

They are no fun whatsoever.

On the other hand, optimistic people are joyous.

So, if you want to be more fun, stop thinking about the things wrong with the world and start looking for reasons to be cheerful.

2. Relax.

Inhibited people are no fun.

Uninhibited people are a great laugh.

That is why people drink alcohol, to lose their inhibitions.

Luckily, you don't need to consume alcohol to lose your inhibitions, you can just decide to be less rigid and more relaxed.

If you want to be fun, RELAX.

Let it all hang-out.

Let your true personality shine.

3. Refuse to take things (or yourself) too seriously.

If you take everything deadly seriously, all the time, then you will be no fun whatsoever.

Learn to switch-off your serious head.

Be frivolous.

Remember the words of the late, great Freddie Mercury, (who was a lot of fun at parties):

Nothing really matters.

Anyone can see,

Nothing really matters,

Nothing really matters to me.

4. Notice the silliness.

If you look for it, you will see silliness in almost every direction.

Fun-people see madness woven into the fabric of everyday life, and they laugh at it.

There is something absurd in most sports, in most politicians, in every pompous person.

All you need to do is to set your antenna to seek-out absurdities in life!
